BEREAVEMENT - A lady from Cwmllynfell, Mrs Audrey Williams, passed away on June 11. Her husband Jim had been an Ambulanceman for years based at Pontardawe. Audrey was the beloved husband of the late Jim, devoted mother of Jeff, Angela and Phillip, mother-in-law, grandmother and great grandmother.
The service was at St Margaret Cwmllynfell prior to cremation at Swansea.
Officiating was the Rev Adrian Teale.

Gwasanaeth yng Nghapel Tabernacl Pontardawe, yna cleddir ym mynwent Capel Alltwen. Roedd y gwasanaeth yng ngofal Mr Eifion Walters, Mr Gareth Hopkin a Mr Owen Pugh.
NATIONAL EXECUTIVE OF THE OAP OF WALES - A meeting will be held at St Mair's Centre, Aberdare on July 9. This will be the first meeting since the conference and rally on June 5.
SWANSEA VALLEY OAP - The meeting consisting of branches of Swansea Valley OAP will be held on July 15 at the Cross Centre, Pontardawe. All members are encouraged to attend.
ST MARY'S CHURCH, SWANSEA - The Morriston Orpheus Choir were invited to sing at the Church on Saturday, June 29, organised by the Swansea Rotary Club.
PONTY SENIORS - Entertainers had a night off on Friday, June 28 at the Neuadd yr Hen Oed, for this Friday they enjoyed a social evening whereby a good chin wag was had. Next Friday we will be looking forward the the Excelsior Choir to entertain.
