SINGING FOR THE BRAIN - Ammanford Alzheimer's Society hold weekly singing for the brain sessions in the Ammanford office, 7b Hall Street. (This does not include the second Tuesday of each month) from 2pm-4pm.

CHALLENGING PAIN WORKSHOPS - Arthritis Care is holding training workshops covering managing pain, fatigue, stress, negativity, excerise, breathing and relaxation techniques. Run over two consecutive weeks the workshops are free and open to anyone with chronic long term pain. The course takes place at the Indoor Bowls Club, Canolfan Cartref Heol Manor, Ammanford on Monday, September 23 and 30 from 11am to 1.45pm.

JUNIOR INDOOR BOWLS - Coaching sessions will begin on Saturday, September 28 from 9.45am to 11.30am at the stadium, Manor Road, Ammanford. A warm welcome is extended to all from age 8 to 16.
