FIELD TRIP: Members of the Capel Hendre OAP Club on their recent visit to Kidwelly Castle.
Capel Hendre pensioners have been soaking up some of the nation's rich history - thanks to a lottery grant.
The village OAP Club has received funding to cover the cost of a series of visits to the castles of Wales where members can learn about the buildings, their place in the nation’s history and their occupants.
Members have already enjoyed visits to Kidwelly Castle and Newton House.
