WI - Nantygroes WI hold their next meeting on Thursday, September 12 in Carmel Hall. The speaker will be Heather Summer who will give a talk and demonstration on Classical and Folk Music. Names and money will be taken for the trip to Leominster and Hampton Court Castle on Friday 4 October - friends welcome (please contact Pauline to book). Meeting starts at 7.30pm, new members always welcome.

MACMILLAN COFFEE MORNING - This will be held on Friday, September 27 in Carmel Hall. There will be cakes, crafts and bric a brac on sale and all proceeds go to Macmillan Cancer Research. If you would like to book a table, please contact Pauline on 01269 831786.

CRAFT DAY - The next coffee and craft day will be on Friday, September 20 in Carmel Hall between 10am and 3pm.

AFTERNOON TEA FUNDRAISER - Sue Ladd and Friends and the Old Mill Foundation have organised the fundraiser for Saturday, September 7 at Carmel village hall from 2pm to 5pm. Cost £7.50 per person. Bring along your friends and family or treat yourself to an afternoon of fancy tea, scrumptious food and good company, and help us to raise money for two amazing local Cancer support charities.
