CWMAMMAN JUNIORS AFC - are looking for under 8s and under 9s to play for them; training is held at Grenig Park, and started on Thursday, September 19; all welcomed.
BOOTCAMP - SW Fitness at the Green Unit, Riverside Walk, Glanaman hosts a Body Blast Bootcamp on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays (10am-11am and 12.30-1.30pm).
Shane Williams’ facility also offers a “Rise and Shine Bootcamp” every Monday, Wednesday and Friday (6am-7am) each session is £2.50.
CONCERT - Cor Lleisiau’r Cwm will sing at St Michael’s Church, Wind Street, Ammanford on Friday, September 27, the concert starting at 7pm. Tickets (£5) are available on the door.
ROYAL BRITISH LEGION - The Garnant branch of the Royal British Legion’s next meeting will be on Tuesday (October 1) 7.15pm at Garnant Club, this being their Annual General Meeting. All are welcome.
COMPUTER COURSES - A Computers-Absolute Beginners’ course starts on Tuesday, October 1 (6.30pm-8.30pm) at Glanaman Community Education Centre, High Street. This is for people with no previous computer experience who would like to learn how to use the Internet, type letters, create posters and more. The course is over 30 weeks.
Computer Skills-Year 2 is for people who have some computer experience and want to develop their skills such as Word Processing and Spreadsheets. There is a choice of two slots for this course: Monday, September 30 (6-8pm) or Friday, October 4 (9.30am-11.30am), again over 30 weeks.

CWMAMMAN SENIORS - Cwmaman OAP group meets tomorrow (Thursday) at the Community Centre, new members welcomed.
We all enjoyed our trip last week, a trip on the River Tawe with an extensive commentary all about the ports of Swansea, from which we all learned a lot; we had a few hours around the Town to finish a lovely day.
