TYCROES VILLAGE HALL - The audience in attendance at the concert convened at the village hall on September 13 by the Dyffryn Amman Male Voice Choir and guest artist, under the conductorship of Ian Llewelyn, were captivated by the quality and diversity of entertainment provided.
Gratitude to the lady member's of he hall's committee, for providing an excellent quality of light refreshments.
The care of faithful supporter's are reminded of the last two functions to be convened under the direction of the village hall's committee for 2013.
On Friday, October 11 at 7pm an evening's entertainment will be provided by the Efail Isaf concert party of Pontypridd. The evening's president will be Mr Bob Jones, chairperson of Tycroes school Governors.
This will be the concert party's first appearance at the village hall, and are in demand with south and west Wales and further afield.
On Friday, November 22 at 7pm a Victorian evening will be provided by June Ashton-Mears of Pontardawe.
The evening will consist of a new mode of entertainment, which will be educational to include an historical demonstration and commentary of Victorian atire, i.e various dressings and gowns.
The admission will be £4, raffle £1, and wall children accompanied by an adult will be admitted free of charge.
