BEREAVEMENT - Deepest sympathy is expressed to all the family, following the passing away of Cwmgors gentleman Mr Gwynfor Jones; Gwynfor, of Heol y Gors, died peacefully at Morriston Hospital on October 5.He was the loving brother of Eirlys and Enid, brother in law of Howard and the late John, and was a dear Uncle and much loved Great-Uncle.
The funeral took place at Morriston Crematorium last Thursday (October 17). Donations, in lieu of flowers, towards the Wales Air Ambulance, are being accepted by Funeral Directors Evan Rees and Hywel Griffiths at 98, Heol Cae Gurwen, GCG.
CWMGORS RFC will be away against Blaenau in the Cup this Saturday (October 26).
FUNDS RAISED.Cwmgors Primary school joined in the fund raising for the Macmillan Cancer Research cause, and their Coffee afternoon raised a total of £320; well done to all concerned.
HALLOWEEN DISCO – A charity Fancy dress Halloween Disco with a children's entertainer will be held at Cwmgors rugby club on Friday, November 1 at 6pm. Entry £2 includes a free hot dog for the children. Tickets are available from the shop With a Cherry on Top in Cwmgors, or you can pay at the door. This event is in aid of Latch, the Welsh Children's Cancer Charity.
