PONTY SENIORS - A misunderstanding on Friday evening meant that the seniors enjoyed a social evening rather than a musical evening. However, it was an enjoyable time for all with what they had.
REMEMBRANCE SERVICE - The Annual Remembrance Service will be held at St. Peter's Church, Pontardawe on Sunday, November 10, officiated by the Vicar Revd. Gary Green. The parade will begin at the Jubilee Club at 10.30am, arriving at the Church just before 11am. If you require a seat, please come early.
BEREAVEMENT - A very popular man, Mr Daniel John Davies "Dan Tyn Cwm", died on October 11. Dan of Frances Street was the boloved father of Ceri, Sian, Geraint and Gavin, loving brother of Betty, Gareth and Susan and cherished grandfather and great grandfather. The funeral took place on October 24 at Swansea Crematorium with the Rev. Gareth M. Jones officiating.
LLANGIWG FRIENDS - New members are invited to join the above to help to programme social activities, celebrations and events, and also to support exhibitions, concerts and educational programmes for the community. Friends of Llangiwg meet at the Ivy Bush Hotel on the third Tuesday of every month at 7.15pm. All are welcome.
