TAIRGWAITH SENIORS - met on November 18, Chairperson Ivy Tanner welcoming all and wishing well all those indisposed, including Doris Hill, indisposed at home, and Mary Richmond, admitted back into Prince Philip Hospital.
Last Friday saw some members travel to Eastbourne for a Turkey and Tinsel break.

BEREAVEMENT - Mr Thomas William (“Tom”) Hadley of Clwyd Road, Gwaun cae Gurwen, passed away, peacefully at the Amman Valley Hospital on November 15.
Tom was the beloved father of Michelle, Mark and Matthew, a respected father in law of Glyn and Helena, and a devoted grandfather of Lowri, Nicholas, Angharad, Ffion, Elinor and Shannon, a loving great-grandfather of Jordan, Amelia Grace and Hari, and a dear brother of Ken, Brian and the late Douglas. Tom will be sadly-missed by all his family and friends.
The funeral was on Friday (November 22) at Llanelli Crematorium.
SWIMMING CHARITY FUNDRAISERS - Emily Hinshelwood and her daughter Eira McCallum, of Tairgwaith , are undertaking a fund raising charity swim over 22 miles (the equivalent of the English Cannel), largely at Pontardawe Swimming Baths, to raise money for a Spinal Injuries charity.

POLICE AND COMMUNITY TOGETHER - The next local P.A.C.T. meeting will be tonight (Wednesday), November 27 , commencing at 6.30pm at Gwaun cae Gurwen Community Hall; all welcomed.
