GCG BAND - Gwaun cae Gurwen silver band held their first rehearsal after the holiday break on January 7; we hope our Musical Director has made a full recovery following a recent bout of illness. Looking back at 2013, the band and their MD have worked hard to fulfil all their engagements. 2014 promises many new adventures for the band. They thank all their ticket sellers and everyone who supported the Lottery Scheme.

P. A. C. T. MEETING - The opening Gwaun cae Gurwen and Lower Brynamman Police and Community Together meeting of 2014 will be at GCG Community Centre tonight(Wednesday), January 8 at 6.30pm; all welcomed.
WEDDING ANNIVERSARY - Very best wishes to Norman and Brenice Sunderland, of 37, Graig Road, Gwaun cae Gurwen, who celebrated their 52nd wedding anniversary on December 30.
CWMGORS RFC - The club will be in Swalec cup fourth-round action this Saturday (January 11), when they travel to play Burry Port.
