TWO men recently appeared in court and were banned from driving for failing to provide information to police.
Phillip James Rivers, 64, of Penybanc Road, Ammanford, was banned from driving for six months after failing to provide information.
On July 12, Llanelli Magistrates Court found Rivers guilty of failing to provide information relating to the identity of the driver of a vehicle believed to have been involved in an offence when requested by Dyfed Powys Police. The offence was committed on March 8.
The same court banned him from driving on August 9, fined him £660 and ordered him to pay £66 surcharge and £90 costs on August 9.

David Thomas, 76, of Towy Terrace, Heol Cennen, Ffairfach, Llandeilo, was banned from driving for failing to provide information.
Llanelli Magistrates Court found him guilty of the offence of failing to provide information relating to the identity of the driver of a vehicle believed to have been involved in an offence on June 29. The offence was committed on February 17.
The court banned him from driving on August 10 for six months and fined him £200. He also had to pay £34 surcharge and £110 costs.
