Cwmaman Town Council recently received representatives of the trustees of Hen Fethel chapel to a meeting. It was reported that the trustees have agreed to establishing a new, independent trust, and will pass over the ownership of the chapel to the new trustees once established.
The trustees were asked to write to the Council to confirm their position, thereafter the Clerk would enquire as to the scope for help from the Pro-Help initiative, which provided pro-bono professional help to community groups.
