Y Cyfeilydd oedd Ms Y Davies. Yn oedfa’r hwyr y Gwr Gwadd oedd Mr Alun Lenny o’r cyfeilydd oedd Miss Sara Morgan.
OAP ASSOCIATION - The monthly meeting of the Llangadog OAP Association was held at Llangadog Community Hall on Tuesday, October 8 at 2pm. Our chairperson Gwen Ford presided.
Our guest speaker was Mr David Gealey of Llandovery who gave an interesting talk on his visit to the Clermont area of France. He also showed us photographic slides of the area. A very enjoyable afternoon was had by all.
All enjoyed our September coach tour of the Pembrokeshire coast, with the weather being very much in our favour.
The lucky raffle prize winners were:- Enid Yelland, Shirley Tarr, Jayne Pritchard, Joan Page & June Cooke.
Our Christmas dinner will be on the 3rd December, time and venue to be announced later.
COFFEE MORNING RAISES FUNDS FOR CANCER - A very successful coffee morning was held at The Goose and Cuckoo, Llangadog on September 27 in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support when the grand sum of £2,512.20 was raised.
Many thanks to everyone who helped and supported this very worthy cause.
A special thankyou to Luke and his staff at The Goose and Cuckoo for being so accomodative.
