LEARN DIRECT - Do you want a to learn a new skill for the New Year? learndirect provides free courses to develop your skills.
You can learn new I.T skills, a foreign language, develop your English and Maths or learn new employability skills such as: customer service, childcare, team leading and business. With over a thousand courses available learndirect is a flexible way where you can learn in your own time at home.
To enrol on a learndirect course just turn up at the Llandovery YMCA (Gerwyn House, Market Square) on Friday mornings (9.30am - 11am).
LLANDOVERY GARDEN CLUB - On Thursday, January 23 we will hold our first meeting of this year at our usual venue, Dolau Bran Community Hall, Llandovery at 7pm.
Firstly, the annual AGM, when subscriptions will be taken by our treasurer, Mrs Marian Morgans, and the new programmes will be issued to the members. Also confirmed our new positions put forward for chairman, treasurer and secretary and committee members.

LLANDOVERY FRIENDSHIP CLUB - The club started off the new year with a visit to Swansea pantomime on January 8, with an excellent meal at the White Hart, Llandeilo, to finish off the evening. The next meeting is Wednesday, January 29, membership to be paid at this meeting.
LLANDOVERY YFC - The organisation will be celebrating their 70th Anniversary Year by holding a dinner at the Castle Hotel, Llandovery on Saturday, February 15 at 7.30pm.
There will be a charity auction for Latch during the evening with guest speaker Deryc Rees.
