Mayor Pat Smith held a Charity Ball on April 13 at the Castle Hotel, Llandovery. All funds raised through the Town Raffle and on the evening will be donated to the following charities: Wales Air Ambulance - £2,000, LADCA - £200, Llandovery Junior Drovers - £200, and Scout and Guide Hut - £200.
The event was supported by Barclays Bank Employee £ 4 £ Scheme.
Results of the Raffle drawn on the night: First Prize: £150 donated by the Mayor, won by RolandDavies, 12, College View (and generously given back to Wales AirAmbulance).
Second: Champagne afternoon teadonatedby the Castle Hotel, won by Clive Davies, Britannia House.
Third: Pedestal Flower Arrangement by Sue Thomas, won by Alan Stather, Penygawse Portmeirion Vase - donated by Old Printing Office, won by Pat Jones, Llandeilo.
Hamper - donated by Liz McGill at the Deli, won by Phillip Thomas, Shoe Shop, Stone Street.
His’n Hers Locket Watches, donated by Trydan Arthur, won by Linda Evans, Lon Rhys Prichard.
