SARON muscleman Mark Lewis has powered his way into contention for a place in next year’s European Powerlifting Championships with another medal performance.
Lewis snatched second place in the 100kg class of the British Powerlifting Championships last week at the Jubilee Club in Pontardawe.
The podium finish marked an incredible six months for Lewis who returned to the sport in May after a 13-year absence to claim first place in the Welsh Powerlifting Championships.
Lewis is now looking to maintain his best form to claim a place in France next year.
