LLANDEILO travelled to Pontarddulais looking to extend their 4 game unbeaten run and stay top of Reserve Division Two of the Carmarthenshire Football League. As the home side look to bounce back and end a string of poor results.

The visitors didn't take long to get off the mark, Charlie Bleasedale with a fine chip over the defence freeing Jamie Woodall to slot the ball in. Llandeilo soon added their second through a great burst of pace from striker Tom McCarley who picks out Jamie for his second. Llandeilo look deadly upfront as McCarley picks up a loose ball In the box to make it 3-0!

The hosts battled back throwing everything at Llandeilo, but couldn't break down what was a solid defensive display, lead by young captain Leon Jones. Minutes before half time Jamie Woodhall gets his well deserved Hat-rick with a curling effort from outside the box. Llandeilo will now go into the second half with a 4-0 comfortable lead!

Llandeilo started the second half much like the first, keeping the pressure on the hosts with a moment of brilliance from Jamie Woodall getting his fourth goal with a fantastic volley from 25yards out.

As Pontarddulais' morale was low and heads started to fall, Johnny Waugh broke down the wing and found Tom Mcarley with a perfect cross, who then piled on the misery for the hosts scoring his second goal of the day.

Llandeilo midfielder Charlie Bleasedale tops off a Man of the Match performance, and a fantastic win for Llandeilo with a rocket from 30 yards finding the corner.

The result sees Steven Birds Llandeilo Reserves stay top of the league and extending their unbeaten run to 5.
