Pantyffynnon 18 Penybanc 25

In only the second outing since their formation, the Penybanc second XV made the short trip to Pantyffynnon looking for a second win .

With many regulars missing, Banc started the game with only 14 men and after quarter of an hour lost hooker Jeremy Lloyd to a calf injury.

Playing with a two-man advantage, Panty were strong favourites to claim the result, but the Tigers clearly failed to read the script.

The lack of numbers seemed to spur the visitors on and during the next 65 minutes them managed to run in four tries to claim an impressive bonus point.

The try-scorers for the visitors were flanker Mark Tench, scrum-half Mathew Ladd, lock Darren Davies and acting captain Carwyn Evans.

The newly-formed Tigers can take great credit from what was an outstanding performance in spite of their lack of numbers.
