Saron U13s 6 Loughor U13s 1
Saron recorded their third win out of four, finally rediscovering the form which won them the league crown last season.
Following on from an unlucky defeat to Ammanford last week, the champions face the reality of having teams up their game to claim a notable scalp.
The opening exchanges were fairly even, with both teams cancelling each other out in midfield.
Eventually, Saron began to stamp their authority on the game, but as in previous games a hopeful up-field hoof earned the lead for Loughor.
Saron kept their heads up and responded immediately with Curtis levelling the scores.
The back four stood resolute with Joe, Ben and Callan putting in a series of brave tackles.
Loughor again launched a high ball into the box with Dyfan saving well, tipping the effort over the bar.
Rhys had an effort well saved before Steff came close with a free kick and the hosts then missed a penalty before Steff scored to earn them a half-time lead.
Saron were quick out of the blocks in the second half, with Sean scoring soon after the restart.
Dyfan came of his line well and made his only save of the second half.
Tizz was winning the physical battle in the middle, keeping a cool head amongst some very physical tackling.
Ayrton was then brought down in the box, Curtis cooly scored from the spot.
Carwyn and Steff both scored again to make it 6-1.
Tom, Nat and Daf came on in the second half and put in a good shift, to cap an excellent team performance.
