Ynysmeudwy travelled to Ynysygwern and came away deserved winners thanks to their second clean sheet in a week.
Paul Sypliwchak scored a cracking goal to secure the win as the Athletic dominated throughout while James Slattery out in a fine performance in defence alongside man of the match Steve Evans.
Meanwhile, 16-year-old keeper Calum Rees did well to maintain his string of clean sheets,
Athletic host Llandore in the West Wales Intermediate Cup on Saturday.

Ynys Reserves entertained Ynysygwern and enjoyed a 3-1 victory with goals from Tom Jones, Connor David and a cracking strike from Calum Jones.
