After ten ends the sides took a well-deserved tea break with the score standing at 49–20 in favour of the Waun.
With both their One and Three rinks now starting to falter, the lead was reduced on 15 ends but with the home Two and Four rinks more than holding their own to maintain a good lead at 68–43.
Despite outscoring the Waun on the last six ends, Town were unable to do sufficient to change the result of the game , enabling the Waun to win by 90–73 and pick up ten points to Ferry’s four.
