Tumble Utd 3 Llandeilo Town 6 Carmarthenshire League Division One Tumble's John Anderson caused a few problems up front from keeper Andy Moore long goal kicks, but these attacks were dealt with quite comfortably by Gareth Norton, John Kelleher, and defence leader Rob Griffiths.
Tumble opened the scoring in bizarre fashion, when they were awarded a free kick outside the box.
The resulting shot beat keeper Eifion Davies, but the ball hit the post, bounced off his head, which left the Tumble forward free to nod into an empty net.
This seemed to spring Town into life and after a few attacks, Cerison Davies cut in on the left, and after turning their right back inside out was floored in the penalty box.
The resulting penalty was coolly netted by Davies into the bottom corner.
Llandeilo went 2 -1 up when after good work Davies rounded the Tumble defence, and slotted passed the advancing keeper.
Llandeilo went 3-1 up when after good work again by Mathew Thomas on the left, Keith Dainton took on the Tumble defence and dispatched the ball passed the hapless keeper. Tumble pulled one back next after a corner was not properly cleared and the ball fell to their forward to knock into an empty net.
Coach Eirian Rees brought on Jason Smith, who knocked in a brace within 10 minutes.
There was controversy towards the end when the Tumble forward beat the offside trap and put the ball round keeper Eifion Davies, who upended him on the edge of the box.
Everyone was expecting the referee to bring out a red card, but only produced a yellow card much to everyone's surprise, as the referee had deemed defender Mathew Yelland to be last man.
Tumble however still scored from the resulting free kick.
Pick of the goals was by Mathew Thomas, who after excellent work down the right cut into the box, and beat the keeper from the acutest of angles.
Pick of the players again today were Cerison Davies and Mathew Thomas, but overall it was an excellent team performance. Mention also to Jason Morgan who again worked hard up front.
