Llandybie Social A posted a vital 5-2 win at Snooker World B in the Llanelli snooker league first division, spurred on by frame wins by Lyndsey Pugh, Roger Morgan, Wyn Major and Chris Jones; Wesley Roach and Rich Davies replied for the Ammanford cuemen.

Elsewhere, Mark Morgan, Geoff Davies and Lawrence Evans were winners as Garnant B went down on aggregate 4-3 at Pontarddulais Workmen's, for whom the Griffiths boys, Duane (45 break) and Adam (60 break) were in good form.

Matchroom A won 4-3 at Electric A, while Craig Jones made a 47 break as Reading Room Blues won 5-2 at Llanesco B.

Anthony Krysa and Kieran Peregrine were Snooker World A's winning pair in a 5-2 reversal at Legion Whites, whereas Gavin Pantall made a superb 106 break as a depleted Bryn B lost 4-3 at Matchroom B.

In Division 2, leaders Gorseinon A lost out again, 5-2 to Llanesco A, while Elton Rees, Jonathan Stockwell and Anthony Stephens won for Great Mountain A, beaten 4-3 by New Lodge A.

C Rees, Joe Evans and Nicky Walters earned Upper Tumble Blues an aggregate 4-3 win at Llanelli Cons A (Paul Thomas 68 break), whereas Electric B won 5-2 at Carway A, and Bryn A walked over against Carway B, who couldn't field a side. Libs were 5-2 winners at bottom side Rileys.

Elsewhere, M Courtney (34),Roy Morgan, Paul Jones and N Griffiths gave New Lodge B a useful 5-2 victory against Tafarn y Felin.

In Division 3, Kevin Evans, A Thomas and Llew Williams gave Cross Hands Hotel an aggregate 4-3 win at CGMD: for the Fishermen's Paul Sparkes, John Sparkes and Jonathan Morgan were on song.

Leaders Reading Room Reds won 5-2 against Gorseinon B, whereas Michael Sainty, Ioan James, Sam Jenkins and Jay Mainwaring won for Upper Tumble Reds, who defeated Cons B 5-2.

Llandybie RFC gave their promotion hopes a boost with a useful 5-2 victory against Legion Reds, courtesy of wins by Mark Richards, Jamie Gimblett, Dave Matthews and Matthew Howells.

Tim Walters and Nathan Davies were Llandeilo Hall's winning duo as they slumped 5-2 to Penygroes RFC B. For the latter, Lee Evans, Barry Daniels, Lee Daniels and Neil Tinnuche (who won his frame 132-0) all won.

Joe Morgan, Lyn Hopkins and Alun Morris were on the ball for Garnant C, beaten on aggregate 4-3 by White Lion, while Pontarddulais Cons B, for whom Alan Hiddlestone, Hugh Williams, Steve Williams and Dai Davies struck, defeated Loughor 5-2. Steve Warlow and John Wilcox replied.
