Cwmgors RFC have had a difficult end to the season, finishing off with four tough matches within the space of 11 days.
In midweek, Cwmgors travelled to Kenfig Hill, where they were beaten by 52 points to 15.
Scrum-half Phil Thomas was amongst the points for the Cherries again, crossing for a try, which he also converted, and added a penalty. Wing Lyn Thomas crossed for Cwm's other try.
On Saturday meanwhile, Cwmgors had a seemingly impossible task, taking on champions Mumbles at Parc y Werin.
Cwm fielded virtually a second XV, what with some 14 players out with various injuries in all, and it proved as tough as they expected.
Mumbles' pace and strength too much for the home side, and they ran out convincing winners 73-0.
Luckily, other results meant Cwmgors were safe from relegation as they limped over the finishing line for the season.
Cwmgors' annual players' presentation night is scheduled for May 19.
