l Saron U10s made a poor start to the Sunnybank Tournament, losing 3-0 to Bryncoch in the opening game, but soon made amends by beating St David's 4-1 thanks to The Hitman' who scored all four goals.
Then came Cwrt Herbert which was a draw, even though Saron had 90% of the play.
These results gave Saron a quarter final game against Hendy. Saron had chances but it went to a nerve tingling penalty shoot-out which Saron seem to take in their stride these days with The Hitman', The Boot' and Cartwheel' putting their penalties away and Statman' making a trade mark penalty save, giving Saron the game 3-1.
Then came Bryncoch again in the semi-final. Both sides had chances but Saron failed to finish theirs and Bryncoch took their one clear chance and sent Saron out with a 1-0 scoreline.
