Saron U12 2 Cwmaman U12 3 SARON started this local derby well dominating the play when Kieran Duffin and Rhys Rico'Page-Walker had glorious chances to put the home team ahead.Cwmaman gained the lead through a sloppy defencive mix-up despite Ryan Lynch in goal doing his best to save.In the second half Saron battled hard but Cwmaman pressurised and scored two quick goals in succession as Saron tried to attack.A well taken penalty by captain Steffan Rees gave the Saron boys hope and then a goal from Ethan Walters made the last ten minutes very nervous indeed for both teams.Despite all the pressure Saron could not claw back the earlier lapses and credit goes to Rhys Beaumont and Joshua Jordan who were nominated Man-of -the- match for their battling and physical effort.Next Week Saron have two teams at the Sunnybank Tournament and the end of year Presentation night will be held on Saturday June 16th at Saron Welfare Hall.
