AT the Park, it was virtually a mirror image of the First XI's disaster as the seconds welcomed their counterparts from Ynystawe.
Skipper Carl Phillips won the toss and invited Ynystawe to bat.
They tried but failed, being dismissed for 67 after 28 overs, after Jason Rosser (4-18) and Ian Marsh (3-13) got amongst them.
Ammanford made heavy weather of batting too, losing four wickets in the process of overhauling the Ynystawe score.
Luckily Jeff Evans was in no mood to surrender his wicket, and his unbeaten 39 saw Ammanford home.
