LLANDYBIE Tennis Club had a fruitful weekend with the ladies' team winning at home to Rhondda Tennis Club by nine events to nil. The men's team were also triumphant, winning away to Haverfordwest by six events to nil.
The winning ladies parings were Helen Morris and Daphne Jones, Kerry Williams and Chloe Alpine and Hazel Davies with Rose Sullivan.
The men's first team played their match over two rounds and the winning pairs were Gareth Davies and Aled Griffiths, Matthew Nicholas and Craig Armstrong and Rhydian Jones and Rhodri James.
Weekend matches were supported by Roger Ellis Trading Ltd.
Next Sunday, the men's 2nd team visit Swansea Tennis Club. The men's 1st team have a fortnight break and the ladies are home to Swansea the following week.
