Ammanford reached the third round of the Premier League T20 knockout cup with a 3 wicket win against Clydach at the Park.
Clydach batted first and were all out for a healthy 131 with just one ball left of their 20 over allocation.
They were well served by their middle order where Nicky Fisher (23), Sam Davies (22) and Harry Edwards (21) made significant contributions.
Saihaj Jaspal again bowled well for his 3-13, supported by Alun Evans (2-23) and Callum Croft (2-32).
It must have been with some trepidation, given their recent batting performances, that Ammanford set out to overtake Clydach's total, but openers Kurtis Marsh and Saihaj Jaspal gave them a sound start with an opening stand of 38.
When Jaspal was out for 25, the experienced middle order kept a cool head with Alun Evans (22) and Rhys-Huw Davies (12) keeping the scoreboard moving at the required rate.
Marsh played the vital anchor role and was full value for his unbeaten 61. Ammanford hope his form will now transfer to the League.
Clydach's score was overtaken with a cushion of 7 wickets and two overs to spare
