Llandybie Tennis Club's season got off to a good start, despite a 4-2 defeat to Aberystwyth.
The season opener showcased four promising debutants; James Leonard, Sam Watkin, Carwyn Gape, and Gavin Thomas.
Most matches were closely contested, with several decided by nail-biting tie-breaks.
Chris Harris, the squad's seasoned hand, provided invaluable guidance for the inexperienced talents during their first competitive outing.
Vice captain Carwyn Gape remains optimistic about the season, highlighting the match as a chance to observe the new players.
"They did us proud," he stated, promising a "fantastic season ahead."
