Cwmamman United stormed into the third round of the West Wales Cup, thrashing Neath Town 8-1.
The emphatic victory unfolded on a clear day at Grenig Park, with Cwmamman United quickly establishing their dominance.
Ryan Gibbons opened the scoring in the fifth minute, skilfully placing the ball beyond Neath's goalkeeper, Josh Lewis.
Swift teamwork led to a second goal by Taylor Smith in the 13th minute, before Gibbons struck again in the 27th minute.
Despite Neath's Thomas Kenny converting a penalty, Cwmamman United maintained control.
Elliot Smith added two more goals before the break, taking the score to 5-1.
The second half saw Cwmamman United making five substitutions, including goalkeeper Kurtis Bray, and adding three more goals.
The Smith brothers each scored again, with an own goal rounding off the tally.
Despite the scoreline, Neath Town continued to fight, with Cwm defenders James Gorman, Iestyn Evans, and Evan Gibbs keeping their wits about them.
The away team's focus will now shift to their promotion campaign to the Macron Premier League.
Cwmamman United, meanwhile, will return to Premier League action next Saturday, facing CKSV in an away match.
Kick-off is at 2pm.
