A Brynamman football club has parted ways with its manager.
Dan Williams has left Bryn Rovers AFC, the Macron West Wales Premier League side, after a 'disappointing' start to the season.
The club made the announcement on its social media platforms on Saturday, November 17, 2024.
Bryn Rovers are currently bottom of the league table, having only managed to win one of their 13 matches this season.
This poor run of form led to the decision to part company with Mr Williams.
The manager joined Bryn Rovers more than six years ago from Ynysmeudw AFC and has been an integral part of the club's development.
During his tenure, the club won the Neath League Premier Division in 2023 and secured promotion to the West Wales Premier League.
Mr Williams also played a key role in the club finishing eighth in their first season in the West Wales Premier League, and in the club's growth to field four senior sides for the first time.
The club's statement extended "heartfelt thanks" to the departing manager, saying: "His professionalism, hard work, and dedication have left an indelible mark on Bryn Rovers."
It went on to acknowledge the significant contributions Mr Williams made both on and off the field, as well as his commitment to the community.
The statement also wished Mr Williams, his family, and loved ones all the best for the future, and expressed confidence in his continued success in his future endeavours.
The club is now focused on finding a new manager to change their fortunes.
The club urged supporters to continue backing the team during this transitional period.
The statement concluded: "Your support is vital to our success, and together, we will rise to meet the challenges ahead with resilience and unity."
Bryn Rovers are confident that, with the same level of dedication and community support, they will continue to thrive and achieve their goals.
The club also reassured Mr Williams that he and his family will always be warmly welcomed at the club, stating: "Once a Rover, always a Rover."
Bryn Rovers' next league match is a home fixture against Ynystawe Athletic on Saturday, November 23, at Cae Criced.
