Cwmamman United bounced back from last week's surprise defeat with a resounding 5-1 win against Dafen Welfare.
The match took place at Grenig Park, with Cwmamman United dominating the first half.
Ryan Gibbons, Elliot Smith, and Ryan Cole contributed to the early flurry of goals, putting the home team ahead 3-0 within the first 25 minutes.
Despite a strong midfield presence from Cam Berry, Myles Perkins, and others, the score remained unchanged going into halftime.
After the break, Elliot Smith secured his hat trick with two more goals.
Cwmamman United then made a tactical change, bringing on all five of their substitutes at once.
Though they lost some momentum, they maintained pressure on Dafen Welfare, who managed to keep the scoreline from escalating further thanks to some commendable saves from their goalkeeper, Liam Jenkins.
In the dying moments of the match, Dafen Welfare's Elliot Jones scored a consolation goal with a deft header.
The match also saw Dafen's Lennon Evans receive a red card after a dispute with the referee.
This victory will be a morale booster for Cwmamman United as they prepare for their upcoming match against Glais AFC on Saturday, November 23, at 2pm.
