Llandovery RFC unveiled a new all-weather 3G pitch during its Super Rugby Cymru match against Bridgend Ravens.
The ceremony, held on Saturday, November 30, was attended by numerous officials, including representatives from Carmarthenshire County Council, the Senedd, and the Welsh Rugby Union.
The Football Association of Wales, Sport Wales, and club sponsors also made an appearance.
Sport Wales chief executive Brian Davies OBE officially opened the new facilities.
The pitch is a multi-sport surface, accommodating rugby, football, and other sports, and was funded by Sport Wales, Carmarthenshire County Council, the UK Shared Prosperity Fund, and community crowdfunding.
Ahead of the official proceedings, local junior teams demonstrated the pitch's utility.
On the field, Llandovery celebrated the opening with a 28-12 victory over Bridgend Ravens, moving up to fourth in the Super Rugby Cymru table.
The pitch is expected to serve as a valuable community resource.
