The trial of Maxine Williams for the alleged murder of her mother's partner is drawing to a close.
Today, the judge, Mr Justice Nigel Davis, began his summing-up of the case to the jury at Swansea crown court.
The jury could retire to begin considering a verdict later today.
Williams, aged 22, is accused of stabbing to death Bernard Evans in the kitchen of the house in Pantyffynnon Road, Ammanford, which he shared with her mother Julie.
Last week, Williams, of Pembrey, declined to enter the witness box to give evidence on her own behalf.
Mr Evans, aged 42, bled to death after the wound severed an artery in his arm.
Williams has denied murder.
