BRYN travelled to neighbours Cwm Wanderers for a chance to extend their lead at the top of the Division.
However, Bryn were not expecting the start they made.
Bryn won the kick-off and Nicky Jones teed up Andrew ‘Beckham’ Evans who fired in from five yards inside his own half, for what must be the quickest Bryn goal of all time, it took all of seven seconds.
The home keeper must have feared the worst when Evans then set up Eifion Rogers to score comfortably to make it 2-0.
Jason Griffiths continued his fine recent form with a 30-yard screamer that went directly into the top corner, and Nicky Jones scored from close range after being set up by Rogers to make it 4-0 at the interval.
There were further goals in the second half from Leif Thobero who had his best game to date as he ran rings around the mesmerised defenders, and Neil Evans who was more surprised than anyone when he scored from 40 yards near the touchline.
Bryn squandered many chances on the day, as their defence shut out Cwm entirely. In great form for Bryn were Neil Evans, Leif Thobero and Andrew Evans.
Bryn are improving and are awaiting potentially another local derby next month.
